Comfort and function
The SpineBoard orthosis consists of a padded plastic splint that is reinforced by two aluminum struts. These aluminum braces are inserted into the textile lumbar support bandage. Additional shoulder straps pull the patient's body backwards and secure it to the plastic splint. When the SpineBoard orthosis is worn, the back muscles are activated and the upper body straightens up, which counteracts the hunchback.

- Osteoporotic vertebral body fracture of the thoracic and/or lumbar spine
- Juvenile Scheuermann's disease
- Hunchback with chronic back pain
- Osteoporosis
