Comfort and function
The EMBRACE WRIST/THUMB was developed to effectively stabilize the wrist and thumb metacarpophalangeal joint. An anatomically optimally positioned, ergonomic thumb splint and the "Embrace Strap Technology" ensure good, individually adjustable immobilization of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb.
- The Embrace strap is a new, flexible method for efficient immobilization of the thumb and is aimed at functional and comfortable rehabilitation
- The Embrace strap system consists of two adjustable straps that enclose the thumb
- The way in which the straps are placed around the thumb determines the degree of immobilization
- With pull-on aid (slip-on aid), making it easier to put on
- Length of the Velcro straps can be adjusted individually
- Available in four sizes for the right and left hand
Indications
- Ligament injuries to the thumb, rhizarthrosis
- Ulnar collateral ligament lesion of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb
- Painful changes to the scaphoid bone
- Radial instability of the wrist
- Secondary treatment after fractures in the wrist/thumb saddle joint area
