Comfort and function
The aluminum splint reliably protects the injured finger and is radiolucent (60 kV, 5 mAs) - an X-ray check is therefore possible without removing the splint.
The breathable material makes the splint comfortable to wear; however, contact with liquids should be avoided as the foam absorbs moisture.
