Comfort and function
The BioSkin™ OA Spiral™ is a lightweight knee orthosis for people with tibiofemoral and/or patellofemoral osteoarthritis. By relieving and guiding the knee joint, pain is significantly relieved and functionality is increased.
Tibiofemoral
The OA Spiral™ uses a three-point lever system with an inelastic band that pulls the knee out of the varus or valgus position to effectively relieve pain.
Patellofemoral
In patients with tibiofemoral osteoarthritis, over 90% also have radiographic patellofemoral osteoarthritis. The BioSkin™ Q-Strap has been clinically proven to reduce pain in the patellofemoral joint by supporting patellar alignment and improving joint surface contact. The lightweight construction and thin, breathable materials make it comfortable to wear - even under clothing. The OA Spiral™ is also built to last with easily replaceable hook and loop panels.
